We carefully source our beans from a revolving list of independent, UK small batch roasters who go the extra mile to purchase sustainable coffee and reduce CO2 footprints whilst roasting to achieve interesting flavour profiles from seasonal coffee crops. We are currently working with Climpson & Sons, a long established family business based in London
We have a range of cards and gifts from local artist Bewilderbeest & a range of chocolates and dragees from Tosier, one of only a handful of ethically sourced bean to bar producers in the UK, based here in Ipswich. We also sell retail packs of Joe's Tea, and Climpson & Sons coffee
A beautiful, warm and welcoming space for hosting a wide range of events from business meetings to private parties. Our community also includes our dogs! We welcome four-legged friends... and after a long walk in Christchurch Park, where better to rest than on one of our dog beds?!
Su Ling came across this shop by happy accident... and her passion for coffee, quality healthy food, interior design, the environment and all things French collided to form the Green Room. A cafe creme is her coffee of choice
Emily is our new cafe manager, bringing calm and organisation to the operations whilst sipping an Allonge with cold milk. An artist, she's passionate about all things Ipswich and in her spare time you'll find her photographing her fabric-draped Suffolk landscapes or touring our local attractions
Our lead barista Sharka is well known for preparing great coffee in Ipswich. Having managed several chain coffee shops, she is now in her element, beaming happiness and good cheer to our lovely customers and taking great pride in running the show brilliantly
Kushala is our second barista extraordinaire!
A Business Management graduate, Catia is our newest barista-in-training. Her love of coffee, food and people is our perfect combination. Behind the scenes, she's teaching Su Ling Portuguese and translating our recipes for her mother who is one of our excellent home bakers.
Hannah was our regular Saturday customer, and now she's our regular Saturday waitress! Cake baking, crochet and calligraphy are just 3 of her other skills... And its her lovely writing that you see on our boards
When the doors close, we're still here preparing for the next day.... Critical to this process is our former 60's fashion model, foundry worker, civil servant and head chef, Mandy Mops. She brings us smiles, stories and sparkly floors.
